Maeve

Grey today. Not too dull. But still rather grey.
I am feeling the need for some more brightness.

Spent some time in the garden this morning planting out some Dwarf French Beans, and some Cosmos. Also planted a few Cosmos and some Nasturtiums in the last two big pots which we have for near the front door. Maeve the Deerhound decided that lying on the grass was what she wanted to do.

We had our walk after lunch. The bridle path was drier today. We had a nice wander along the beach at Westhaven, but bypassed the Fishermen's huts today and had a bit of a potter round the boats down on the hard sand as the tide was right out. Just one dog walker passed by when we we right down at the boats, so we felt we had the beach to ourselves.

I had taken some pics on the beach, but wasn't very happy that any of them were as good as the ones from the last day or two so I wandered out into the garden and had a little garden flowers photo session, then had a seat on the red seat that Apothecary7 blipped recently. Maeve had been doing her figure of eight top speed laps round the small lawns but came over and lay down near me when I sat on the seat. I sneaked some pics ... so here she is ... Maeve the Deerhound in her garden :-)
