Experiment

The new tablet came with some adapters so it got me thinking. I wonder if my Kindle will recognize my camera. 

So with Kindle Fire in hand, two cables and the camera I hooked it all up and what do you know.. It worked. It doesn't say what kind of camera it is and it doesn't (so far at least) recognize RAW files but it did see the JPEG files.

Transferred everything over and through the browser and a cellular / WiFi hotspot I uploaded today's blip. Nice to know I have another alternative.

At lunch I went walking the the neighborhood near our companies headquarters in Rancho Cucamonga California. Many birds and a few flowers. Waiting to find out what they have planned next for me...
