Sweet scent of summer

For the first time, we've got magnolia blossoms on our tree. I'm guessing it's because we are having such warm, dry weather. It's fascinating watching the bees do their dance on the stamen (wonder if there's a plural for stamen...) I didn't know that magnolia blossoms have such a beautiful scent!
