On a Frozen Diamond Lake

This morning we went to a local cafe to meet with the other Wanaka photographers, then headed to Diamond Lake to see if it was iced over. Yes it was, and we had fun walking on the frozen ice, even though it was very slippery.  There were no ice skaters, but plenty of people enjoying their frozen lake experience.  This photo is of little 'h' with her Aunty going for a walk on the icy lake. I was brave and walked on the lake too!! It is quite warm in town +6C.
