I'm conquering my fear of photographing strangers, one kid at a time.

The warm weather has been holding, which means lots of time at the water park. I took a deep breath today and asked parents if I could take a picture of their kid.

Makes me wonder what I would say. Would I let a stranger get this close with my kid? Most likely yes, but the pause is revealing.

Thankfully, I was pulled by love. Which always feels safe. This kid had me with the colors in his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle hoodie. Then he turned around and I saw those eyes.
