Mum's course at Higham Hall ended today. I drove over to have lunch there and then to bring Mum and our friend, Jenny, home again. It was wet and the roads were very busy on the outward journey; quieter and fine on our return.
Many of the Lake District mountains were in cloud, including Skiddaw which I usually photograph from the main door of Higham. Today I concentrated on the foxgloves growing by the stylish wall. I notice a lovely clump of maidenhair spleenwort behind on the left.
Watched the final set of Gasquet versus Warwrinka this evening. Very exciting and sad that one had to win although I don't think I could have watched all night!
