village life....

Spent the morning with my visitors, took them to the local market and a few other shops.  

I had to leave after lunch though to get back to Mzuzu before dark.  I left them in the capable hands of a colleague who will take them to the airport later in the evening.

On the way back the light was beautiful - amazing sunset but of course I couldn't stop!  Driving at night here is hazardous due to no street lights and cars and lorries with no lights, broken down lorries, bicycles, goats etc on the roads!   I usually only drive at night when essential.  I arrived home just after dark and am shattered!
