Camping!!

It's my birthday tomorrow so I'm on a microadventure with the folks! Camping is one of my favourite things to do - I don't get to do it very often but when I do I love it. My favourite sound in the world is a tent zip! I can't think of any better place to be waking up tomorrow morning.

We're off to Eilean Donan Castle tomorrow and so tonight we're camped in a beautiful spot at Shielbridge, about 7 miles away.

My tent is pitched, Misty (pictured) is already enjoying the sun and I've had my first midge bite! Not even midges can spoil my night though. I'm contemplating a wee jaunt over the hill in a bit before we lose the sun, followed by a BBQ and cake.
