Time for a natter

Sculptor Andy Scott has built a lot of statues like this throughout Glasgow and the Central Belt of Scotland.
This one is called "Rise" and stands outside the Glasgow Harbour flats on the banks of the Clyde that were built about six or seven years ago.
It's supposed to symbolise a rising from the ashes - the flats stand on an area which was once part of the Clyde shipbuilding industry.
Nice to see a couple of local punters having a blether and walking their dogs in its shadow.
