Still a bit dreich around here so didn't expect to find anything worth blipping on my dog walk this morning. However these very large hens were right by the fence so why not take their photo? Also spotted a duck with four ducklings swimming along the river but they were just too fast especially when you have a dog on a lead pulling you.

The woodpecker visited the garden again this morning but didn't get my camera in time. And the feeder is crammed with young birds. They are funny to watch as they fly from perch to perch uncertain about moving to the next perch.

Best large for the wrinkly detail.
