Celestial Threesome
I had read that early this evening the International Space Station would be passing first Jupiter, then Venus, and that Sydney was the ideal place to see it.
So though Blackheath wasn't ideal, and I'm no astronomer, I located the spot where I thought it would happen and waited.
Of course, I had the wrong spot and realised just as the space station was passing them both.
I held my breath and pressed the shutter.
Thanks to the image stabilisation of the EM1, I was quite surprised by the result.
The space station itself is the line, as it was travelling very quickly, taking seven minutes to pass from one horizon to the other.
