Decided today that the Heaphy ride is on, last weekend in August looks like several friends and I will ride the Heaphy, in both directions, all going well. 160km, over a big hill, in the middle of winter. I must be mad.

So, training is about to recommence, as will a bit more gear buying ... basically, lightweight everything! Prompted by my latest Torpedo 7 shipment today, with some lovely new merino gear. Perfect!

My sister and Dad headed home this morning. Absolutely fab to have them down here, look forward to the next time ;-)
