With Just A Hint Of Drama...

It could be from a James Bond or Mission Impossible film, but alas, it is nothing quite so dramatic....well not exactly anyway.

This building is one of the features of the Melbourne Arts Precint also known as Ngargee, the Bunurong word for 'gathering for celebration'. Located amidst the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, it shares its home with The Malthouse Theatre, Chunky Moves Arts Space and Playbox.

This space tends to be a laboratory for experimentation and the viewer is often required to leave convention at the door along with the contemporary realm of thought. I have not always understood it, but have always been happy for the experience and the joyous conversations that ensue.

Today was the perfect day for wandering around this precinct: A long weekend featuring a polished blue sky that had spent much of the morning preparing behind a misty curtain of anticipation. Everytime I venture this way I am intrigued and inspired to step outside the everyday and leap into possibility...
