'The Flannel'!

Our daughter (RAF one) has gone to another camp for a couple weeks on an instructors course and she 'Facebooked' that no-one told her to take a towel !
This reminded me of the family tale of my shower in Melbourne Airport.

It was January 2002 and all five of us were travelling to Tasmania for a family wedding. When we got to Melbourne it was 0100, we were tired after 3 x 8 hour hops (UK - Dubai - Changi - Melbourne) and our next flight was not until 0900 for an hours flight to Taz.
Melbourne (airport) was totally deserted, all shops closed etc. I took a walk and found the toilets which also had showers in them.
'I'm going to have a shower' I declared to which everyone said not to be so daft as we didn't have any towels on us.
'I'VE GOT THIS' I declared and whipped out the flannel I'd nicked off the Emirates flight. So off I went and had a very good, refreshing shower. It took a while to get dry again, having to wring the flannel out about a zillion times, but it worked and I felt like wide awake and clean!
