Emergency sister duty

I had my fifth PT session today and it was a teeny bit easier than yesterday but not much! I do feel proud of myself for my efforts and for my ability to give things a go, given my poor shape and lack of exercise over the last few years. I have two days off now. Hurrah!

I found the reporting on the 7/7 bombings 10 years on very moving today. Mainly the kindness of strangers in the face of inhuman horror. It made me glad for the human race.

It rained steadily all morning today. I saw a green woodpecker foraging in the verge in the forest on my way to work today. A wonderful sight.

I had my usual half day at work and it was busy so passed quickly. C was poorly so I offered to cancel my eye test and go and play with the children so she could sleep and that's what I did. I played with my gorgeous bubbles and then put them to bed for their afternoon naps. The darlings went straight to sleep and I had an hour and a half cleaning the kitchen and in the garden as the sun had come out and though it was windy it was just lovely. We played some more once I'd got them up and Teddy enjoyed my juggling and did his own juggling by waving the balls in the air. Too cute!

After helping with tea I changed and went straight to PT. Once that had finished, I had a cheeky Frappacino in the way home as a treat. L has finished the back bedroom and dressed it and it looks great. I enjoyed an evening catching up with telly and think I'll sleep well.
