Cottage Lane

More family business last Wednesday, which has the side effect of being able to explore new back roads around Warwickshire and the Cotswolds. On the way back we stopped a few times including once to look at some half-timbered cottages in Upton, near Haselor, in Warwickshire, and here on the outskirts of Stratford-upon-Avon, in Shottery. These thatched cottages are close by Anne Hathaway's Cottage, where we now know Anne Hathaway never lived as she had died before it was built.
