DAY 2 - Colours!

I was a little more relaxed today with activities, they are still sort of wanting to do their own thing.

Kanye especially today had a bad day, an autistic day if you will. He wasn't really there and i spent a lot of the day managing him as he was into things he wouldn't usually get into, he was disruptive and at times aggressive so its important when hes like this to keep my other 2 safe.

Marley wanted to make our fruit and veg juice all by himself today so i helped him switch it on and let him do it! He loved it! 
Though today his coffee when he made it for me was a little watery and hot, i think he left the coffee going a little too long so there was more water than coffee. But i made another alter on so still got my caffeine hit, he's till learning and i don't want to discourage his eagerness to do things around the house.

 I hired out this big colourful parachute form the toy library and put up some streamers and a hula hoop with ribbons for them to run through along with blowing up a heap of balloons. 

They loved playing under the parachute, Harper and Marley had a great time though within 10 minutes kanye came in and pulled own all the streamers and ribbons, He was shouty and angry because of the high stimulus he was getting from it all so the activity sort of ended- i put kanye on a blanket and lined up his thomas trains which calms him down, i put headphones on him with wiggles music, he stayed there for over half an hour.

Later in the afternoon Andre came home and worked from home, while he did, i set up an activity for the boys- kanye again was not interested so just Harper and Marley played.

I want to give anyone taking care of littlies ideas on things they can do when they are at their wits end, things they can mostly  set up quickly and clean up quickly, things that they might already have lying around home, not everyone had the money to dish out for holiday activities so most of them are cheap to do if you don't already have the bits required.

Marley's ear did fix itself after last night, he woke with a smile so lying on it surely must have helped it drain.

Another day done! I can tell you i was exhausted and i so enjoyed sitting with a cup of tea once they were all in bed.
