Opening Up

Now that garden tools have been moved to the posh shed, today was the day when I turned my attention to the common shed.  The idea is to convert it to more of a workshop than a storage facility for all that we don't know what to do with.  This poses two challenges.

The first is to clear the space and to remove all that could-be-handy-one-day stuff.  For example, there is equipment for processing black and white camera film.  I think it is safe to say that this digital stuff seems to have caught on and film processing is not a very likely future activity.  So it goes.  Not everything was so simple.

The second challenge is the nature of the work to be carried out in the workshop.  I have no idea.  I must have shunned the notion of making things at an early age as I have few practical skills.  But I'll think of something.

Today was also the day I noticed the first blooms on the wild rose hedge I planted in the spring.
