I've just spent a penny (or two or three!)

We had smart meters installed today by our friendly British Gas so that (a) we never have to take a reading again - it's all done automatically by t'internet and (b) it shows us at a glance how much energy we are gobbling up so that I can justify turning off all the lights and the heating (especially in summer - ha ha).
