Sloe But Sure

Very colour co-ordinated and oh so very chic! Matching colours and tones of the large thistle head; this sloe bug was fashion savvy  darlings!  A designer bug strutting his stuff. 

The deep burnished maroon and gold coat  photographed against the carefully chosen backdrop made for a stunning show and a must have look for all the other wannabe  sloes on the Common.

This is my sixth attempt to load this tonight as the internet here is so very slow this evening - I got so bored I changed the picture!

A coating of hairs distinguishes it from some other fairly similar bugs. It feeds on flowers and fruits and is not just confined to sloe bushes.
