Sensory

The weather has been quite unsettled today and we have finally had a little rain -  at least enough to perk up the plants in the garden and the countryside.  The evening light was tranquil this evening.  I walked along the old railway line - one of my favourite local spots - and took some time to take in the views, the sound of the trees rustling in the wind and the smell of the vegetation - that was one of the things which I loved about the France - the richness of the smell of the woods as we cycled through them.
