Bees are here :-)

Had a very very busy few days... Never thought I would get enough done in time to collect bees on Sunday...  I had a bit of a disaster when I installed them as full bee suit hadn't arrived and my trousers weren't thick enough. One of the boxes was over developed to be shut. This resulted in very stressed bees as insufficient air. When I opened after 4 hours they were so stressed they attacked :-)  I backed away but not before being stung half a dozen times lol...   Having put another layer of trousers on I then moved them into hives :-)

The picture is of the brood frames that  assembled.

Was very relieved yesterday when I am opened hives to put sugar feeders in that the bees were calm.   I think they will be fine...

Full bee suit has now arrived and I will inspect the bees at the w/e.
