Greenfinch

A few weeks ago while watching spring watch they sent out an sos highlighting the endangered species of our country. Among them were the hedgehog, sparrows, starlings and a few others. I was very surprised to also hear that greenfinch are on the endangered list. I knew about the above, so I was very pleased to see one in my garden first thing. There was just one but hopefully he will have family somewhere. Hopefully the numbers will increase , I can say I have a healthy flock of starlings and sparrows, who still visit everyday for food. I hope the greenfinch returns soon.
