A day of rain

We've had soo much rain today , the roads are now flooded and it's still raining !
We popped to the bank earlier as I had a cheque to pay in and we had counted up all our loose change so cash that in too.
We popped down to the harbour to see if there was anything interesting going on. Several bits of clothing must have been left by the Pier Jumpers ;) Three very noisy baby seagulls were on someones roof shouting at their mum. Dark clouds sped across the sky reflecting in the sea with a brief break in the cloud.
Down to Rosemarkie and I liked the look of Chanonry Point with the sun on it. You can see the people dolphin watching and the boat has a row of cds to scare away the birds.

My friend Anne picked me up at just before 2 to go to the hospital to see our friend Jackie from the puffin Pool. She had a really major operation at the beginning of the year and it was touch and go for a while but she is now on a recovery ward and doing so well that she was actually out on a trip home with her Daughter, so we did nt get to see her this time.
We went to Dobbies afterwards and I had a caramel latte frappe and it was lovey and cold. It was so humid and hot and thankfully it has now cooled down. We both got a bargain tin of yummy biscuits for £1.
Just going to watch Penny Dreadful when it comes onto Now TV and then maybe Outlander
