New blue and broken

A new blue iris style flower bloomed today. I planted these earlier in the year and thought they probably wouldn't bloom this year. On an unhappier note the strong breeze broke one of my delphiniums so I have brought it in to enjoy its beauty and delicacy.

Had a deadline for today. I like the feeling of sending the work off knowing I won't have to look at it again for at least a week. An end of term sort of feeling!
