Market day
in Lichfield.
I was going to a NADFAS lecture, about the notorious court case between Whistler and Ruskin, and as it was in the centre of Lichfield and parking is an issue, I decided to go on the bus.
It was a bright sky when I walked out of the house. Half way to the bus stop the heavens opened - as they do. The bus was late so I dried off a bit in the bus stop, and when I was in Lichfield, in between doing bits of shopping, and pottering around the market, I managed to get a bit wet again. One of those days.
But the lecture was terrific. They are a very friendly group and I'm looking forward to a day out at the Macclesfield Silk Mill and Arley Hall next week.
And it even stayed dry for me to walk home from the bus stop :-)
