Scheveningen

We have arrived at the North Sea, and the weather is quite northerly also. Windy and quite cool. Managed to navigate my way through The Hague to Scheveningen without any incorrect turns, quite an achievement in my case.

We are staying at our usual hotel, the Kurhaus, but it has changed ownership since our last visit at the same time in 2014. Some changes are fairly apparent, one of which is that the impressive Kurzaal is no longer used for breakfast, There are also a few rather tasteless objects scattered around, including the object which can just be seen at the top of the stairs in this picture.

This is taken from the beach side of the hotel, the establishments on the beach front are nothing to do with the hotel.
