Blue Grotto

Yesterday, my lovely friend Melissa and I took a boat ride to the Blue Grotto, on the south of Malta.  The granite and limestone cliffs were impressive, as were the many caves that we went in and out of.  The waters were clear, the sand beneath white, and the water in places shone with an iridescent blue hue. If you placed your hand in the water, it looked blue too.

A trip worth doing :)
