A Hidden Cottage

I can't believe it, but I FORGOT TO TAKE MY CAMERA WITH ME on the walk today. We walked through the Sticky Forest, because it was so windy. While I was walking I was talking to one of the members, and he was saying that the cottage next door to them was for sale. Built in 1890, it is one of the first cottages to be built in Wanaka. They gave me a tour of the grounds, I took a few pics, but like this one the best taken through a walnut tree which is lying on the ground (and still producing walnuts!) Thanks you two very much for showing me this bit of Wanaka history.
