Governor's Bay

We went over to Governor's Bay today.  The dog had a great play and we took photos - not of her because a wet, salty, muddy dog just isn't a good look!

Before Governor's Bay we had brunch at a cafe up on Cashmere hills, looking out over the city.  Then after our beach visit we had a late lunch at She - the Chocolate shop at the top of the Bay.  A steak pie with Guinness and chocolate gravy followed by a hot chocolate with fresh ginger.  Wow!

I did manage to knock my drink over on my new book so I now have a book smelling of ginger and chocolate.  Darn - I only bought it at Scorpio Books yesterday.

I was very good and didn't buy any chocolate to take away with me!
