Tidepools

Before we left the area today, we hiked to Second Beach and spent some time exploring the tide pools during low tide...what a fascinating array of creatures! The drive home was nice, skirting the Olympic forest, stopping every now and then, thankful for air conditioning in the car. I'm skipping monomonday today; could not come up with anything creative for winter in the midst of the heat.
