On the Beach

Today is a special day, you see it is my youngest daughter's birthday. 
We headed out in the freezing weather (-3C) to have brunch at a local cafe.  This photo was taken from where we parked the car.  What were they doing sitting in the freezing cold on the beach?   As you can see it is a beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky, and no wind, just perfect.  The temperature reached a high of +1C.  

My daughter is having a wonderful day, which is what birthdays are all about.  I have had the fire going, so have been snug and warm.  It is the school holidays so little 'h' is having a great day, even though it is so cold.
