A Nursing Piglet

County Fair time is here again. Today, Merrick and my daughter Karen and I went to the Oakland County Fair, in Davisburg, Michigan.

I had a number of shots of Merrick (and Karen) that I could have used, but the tiny piglet spoke to me. Also, Grandpa (me) let Merrick fall off one of the tractors, so the tractor shots were out.

We watched the pig race show twice. On the second go-round, Merrick was chosen from the crowd to be linked with pig #2. So, we had to cheer on the portly porcine. "Go number 2...go number 2!!!" Number 2 came through, so Merrick had to go up to the piggy announcer, and get a small trophy. It was very cute.
