A House For Essex

I finally made it to Walberswick to see the wonderful 'A House For Essex' by Grayson Perry. The house caused some controversy during it's planning stage, but seems to have won people round. I'm a big fan of Grayson's work, and if you missed the channel 4 documentary about the conception of this piece, it's well worth a watch.
We had a gorgeous sunny day for our trip to the countryside, and had a friend visiting so took a picnic and sat on Walbersiwck Beach (why does sand always get in your picnic?!). We met a couple of other friends and had a shandy before heading home. My Mum returned from holiday early evening, so I went to pick her up from the coach drop off and caught up with the others on the sunny quay for more drinks and later a curry. Good old Essex.
