Apples of my Lens

It was really hard to get any picture today what with the wind blowing everything around and the rain coming down when you least expected it!  I don't think much of July yet - where's Summer gone?

This is the crab apple tree at the end of the drive, possibly one of the oldest trees in the parish and utterly laden in fruit this year - I just wish I knew how to make crab apple jelly - in fact, I might just see if I can learn how to do that!  Google must surely have some recipes! :) xxx
