seen here at Dalmeny junction this morning where she is leading the Cathedrals Express on a round Fife tour. Almost 78 years old, she looks superb in lined out BR blue.
Just thinking, I always refer to a steam engine, ship or car as "she" even though they carry a male name.
MaggieD and I had a great morning sitting watching the comings and goings at South Queensferry while we had a picnic lunch before going up to Dalmeny to stake our position for photos. There is often competition for the best places; these guys can get pretty competitive!
This afternoon Fiona popped in with young James and he sat happily on Grandpa's knee for quite a while. We had a great wee chat.
Just sitting watching Andy Murray at Wimbledon. Not a big tennis or Andy fan but I do hope he wins.
