David and John's feet on the glass ledge sticking out from the Willis Tower. Madness I tell ya. I didn't go out.

We went up the deserted tower at about 9.30 and came back down to find an enormous queue. Still being on UK time has its advantages. I'll add some more shots later.

Breakfast was eggs and pancakes. Plus a lake of maple syrup! Now we are off to cycle off some of the calories. I shall be soooo thin when we return home.

The Grateful Dead played their last concert ever here last night. There is a faint lingering aroma of patchouli everywhere....
