Cogges

Filling in the gaps!

Today we met Mrs C and the boys at Cogges in Witney. It threatened rain but we were feeling intrepid and went anyway!
The rain held off while they were feeding pigs and goats, chasing chickens, playing croquet on the lawn and inspecting enormous worms! Then the heavens opened so we went inside the farmhouse and dressed up in Victorian clothes and made rag rugs.
It stopped long enough to get to the fabulous adventure playground.
And then chucked it down again!!
They played in the rain for a bit while Mrs C and I huddled under a tree.
Then we had tea and cake and came home full of plans to go back soon on a nicer day.
At the time of writing (July 2015) we've not been back!!!!
