VERY EARLY KOWHAI

This kowhai tree poking over a fence along the road is always early, and believe it or not is almost finished flowering (the flowers have been got at by the heavy frosts).  Couldn't resist this almost last bloom as I walked past this morning.   Arky getting longer walks now and hope to get my clearance on Thursday when I see the Specialist.
