Cassie Cape- Heron

It was really warm today, glad we are next to the beach this weekend.  We spent several hours on the beach relaxing and swimming in the ocean and I even managed to find a sand dollar (see extra photo). I enjoyed catching up with some of my mum's friends at the caravan park as well.

In the evening we went back to the beach for an evening walk.  As we were walking along, I caught sight of this heron in the water.  I managed to get lots of shots of it walking and flying low along the shore.  I even managed to capture two other herons.  This photo of the heron preparing to land was my favourite.  It didn't land for long as it got scared away by the inflatable boat near by.
