Loch drambuie

Saturday morning wet and grey. After Friday's fabulous weather. Coffee watching the racing boats head off on the next leg of the round mull race as the heavens opened. We stayed put and then had a leisurely sail and just headed across the sound to Loch dramatic. At the head of Loch sunnart. A pretty anchorage on the mainland. It was a bit gusty, so had to reef, but didn't realise my friend couldn't helm. So we got in a fankle, with the Jenny wrapped around the foresail so couldn't furl it. With lots of yacht to avoid. I get very uptight when it goes wrong and forget to think and swear a lot. We got it sorted and no damage done. The good thing about girls is, we talk it through. What went wrong and what was the best way to fix it. We both learnt. Every time I learn, get less anxious as a skipper and manage the situation better. A chilled afternoon and evening in a beautiful spot.
