Dad

July 4th - Independence Day, but etched in my memory as the day that my father died suddenly some 29 years ago. It was good to be with mum today, and to attend the mass held for him in the church in Bannockburn, a church that holds so many happy and sad memories for the family. And later to have a wee carry-out and curry-in with my brothers and their significant others. Lots of laughs and reminiscencing with mum in her element!
