The Red Arrows

The Red Arrows held a display over Stornoway today, to celebrate the Port Authority's 150th anniversary. I headed up to Gallow's Hill to take photographs, so I could get photos with the town in the background. In the end the planes were mostly flying overhead, really close to me, so I still got some good photos, just not so many with Stornoway in them - this was one of the first I took when the planes had just taken off from the airport. I got eaten alive by midges up there, but it was worth it; I've never seen the Red Arrows before and it was great.
