Re-thinking thistles

2 friends invited 2 other friends to church this morning. Then later, all 4 came for a cream tea.

We earned our cream tea by taking the dog for a walk. (??)

Thistles have never caught my eye before. But I needed a quick photo and there are loads of thistles by the waters edge. Now I've seen one close up, I'm going to have to re-think thistles.

Tomorrow is eldest son's lung operation. We need to be at the heart hospital at 7am. What a relief that God is sovereign over all things.
