Looking Forward

Come September this will be the boy's playground. Well one of them. This is the separate one for the Year 7s so they can have the option of age appropriate bullying only should they wish. They are allowed everywhere else if they are feeling big and bold.

I was there with the girl to get the boy's uniform as they had a pop up shop this afternoon. In the absence of the actual child we took his measurements and held things against my godchild who was there getting his uniform. No idea if we have the right stuff as we haven't been able to try it on him yet but I erred on the side of larger and bought the bare minimum so hopefully it's a good start towards being organised for the start of big school.

Now we just need to get the pupil ready. Today has been a big struggle for him. Our current strategy for keeping him awake is to show him The Terminator. Though really it is only because Carl wants to show him the origin of his line "Albi back"...heaven help us all when that bit comes on.
