Broadway Tower

The weather didn't look promising this afternoon - pouring with rain in fact, but I decided to drive over here anyway - a moody cloudy shot looked most likely. But almost as soon as I parked the car, the rain stopped, clouds lifted and I got a very different picture from what I had planned. 

Broadway Tower is a very odd place - a Capability Brown folly dating from around 1800. There is no obvious reason for it to be there at all. Still, the views from the top out over Gloucestershire and Worcestershire are excellent. Good café too,
