A blossoming tulip

One of my friends who came yesterday brought a bunch of tulips. His exact words to me was 'I could not remember whether you wanted me to bring food or drink so I brought these flowers' yes!

Anyway it has given me a blip when the energy levels are a bit low today after a long but fulfilling day yesterday. Very quiet today family returned to their homes, friends back across the country and I can decide which of the left over meats I can have for tea!
