The calm before the storm

Literally! Moments after the last pic was taken, it came over all dark and threatening. MIL remembered her washing was on the line so we swiftly said our goodbyes and went our separate ways.

No sooner had we stepped into the house (2 min walk or so) than the heavens opened and the thunderstorm rolled in.

Another 20 mins on and it's beautiful sunshine again.
