Happy Birthday U.S.A.

We enjoyed the short walk over to the lake at dusk anticipating the fireworks display.
It has been a few years since we've been in the right place at the right time to experience such a display.
The balmy, bug-free night and all the boating activity on Fern Ridge Reservoir, as people positioned themselves for the show, entertained us while nightfall creeped in around us.
The fireworks display certainly did not disappoint us.
Our return stroll in full darkness to find our campsite was a another treat to enjoy.
