Kingston Lacy

We took a trip down Dorset way today, to visit the National Trust property, Kingston Lacy house. It's a great house, probably why the car park was already full when we got there at 12.30! Fortunately it's a big enough place not to feel crowded, altho the restaurants were a bit busy ( it had started to rain as we got there, so everyone was making their way to shelter ).

This is a detail of a design decorating one of the staircases ... bit creepy for my taste!
